Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

The Business Administration major is delivered in both online and on-ground formats. The program integrates contemporary concepts in business with a competency-based approach to develop and strengthen your knowledge, skills, and abilities while adhering to the principles of a faith-based business model. Taken together, the courses emphasize key themes in the business world today:

  • Global Awareness and Complex Thinking
  • Ethical Reasoning and Decision-Making
  • Transformational Leadership
  • Development of Human and Social Capital

Online delivery means you can take the courses in the program from anywhere, as long as you have a working internet connection. You will be assigned readings and projects and participate in discussions and feedback via email and message boards utilizing the Blackboard learning system. On-ground delivery format requires you to attend class once a week, participate in classroom discussions and complete required assignments. Both formats can be completed in less than 2 years.

Your instructors are academically qualified industry professionals carefully chosen for their experience in the field and demonstrated teaching abilities. The student to faculty ratio is generally less than 15:1, so you can be guaranteed individualized attention and small classroom sizes. Small cohorts are intentionally designed into the program to ensure that you benefit fully from greater accessibility and interaction with instructors.

A unique feature of the program is the Organizational Change Proposal, which allows you to actively use your knowledge and skills by completing a hands-on project in your own organization or a community-based organization. Analyzing the selected organization's issues and making recommendations to its leadership enables you to influence meaningful, positive change.
